Pedals, Pipes and Pizza
Explore with us as we introduce area piano students to the 'King of Instruments.' If you are, or have, a piano student in the 4th grade or older, with at least two years of piano study, we want to have you and them join us for Pedals, Pipes, and Pizza. Here we will demonstrate the pipe organ, compare it to a piano, and let each student perform a piano piece on the pipe organ. We will also demonstrate the unique capabilities of the organ. Parents are welcome to join us also.
For this event we will start at Rainbow Mennonite Church and later arrive at Country Club Christian Church. The students will get to explore both instruments and learn more about the pipe organ. The event will end at Country Club Christian Church. If a parent will not be there to transport their student, we can provide transportation. The parent must be willing to sign a waiver to release GKCAGO from any liability.

AGO National Convention
As the 2026 AGO Convention Steering Committee prepares for a fantastic National Convention in St. Louis, we hope you will “Meet Us in St. Louis”! Multiple days with an abundance of events have been planned. I think that you, too, will want to be a part of this great convention in a grand and historic American city!
As part of the convention, you will enjoy an opening barbecue (BBQ); and a spectacular opening concert celebrating America’s 250th Birthday. After that, on the days that follow, you will be able to experience more than seventeen performances at seventeen different venues that will include eight newly commissioned works. You will get to choose from over thirty workshop sessions. You will have the opportunity to participate in a glorious Hymn Festival and five other worship experiences. You will also want to spend time exploring all the various exhibits in the roomy Exhibit Hall
St. Louis is a delightful city to visit before or after the convention. There are many activities for the entire family, such as the Missouri Botanical Garden, the St. Louis Zoo, The Muny (the nation’s largest outdoor theater) and the Gateway Arch grounds (just across the street from the Convention Hotel).
I look forward to you Meeting Us in St. Louis as we celebrate the organ!!
Sincerely,
Burnell Hackman
